Coronavirus has kept us on our toes when it comes to hygiene, but ever thought if your hair is also a possible place where it can stay and thrive?
Novel Coronavirus has left the human race worried since past couple of months now. While the pharma companies across the world are studying this virus and busy looking out for a vaccination for the same, still many have remained confused about how far can this virus remain active on the surfaces such as clothes, stainless steel, plastic and so on, which is used by us on every single day. Latest one to add to this list is our hair.
As per reports in Times Of India, though there is no solid proof of hair being active carrier of this dreadful virus, but there are some possibilities which can’t be denied. Not only hair but only beard, the reports also states of the virus to stay active for minimum hours to some days, but you shall be at lesser risk if you are maintain social distancing which is the thumb rule of the hour. Hence, even if you venturing out to fetch of your daily necessities, you don’t need to wash your hair on and on, as it will hamper your hair health.
Also experts suggest if someone happens to sneeze around you and your hair too is exposed to it, the advice is not to touch them at all and take a bath, rinse off your hair. Touching your hair after it increases the risk of you being infected with COVID-19 virus.
So on that note your hair are in general safe until and unless you follow social distancing and do not use your contaminated hands to touch your hair, face or anything, before you sanitize yourself.
